Voya announces partnership with The Peninsula Hong Kong

Co Sligo-based Voya has announced a new partnership with The Peninsula Spa at The Peninsula Hong Kong.
The Irish family-owned skin and body care brand is formulated from wild seaweed extract, which is sustainably harvested from the waters off the west coast of Ireland, where seaweed bathing has been a health-giving tradition for three centuries. It is also Ireland’s only indigenous therapy.
Voya was founded in 2006 by Mark and Kira Walton, who initially launched a retail seaweed bath, before going on to develop a skin and body care line, which has evolved into a range that includes over 50 products. The new treatment range at The Peninsula Spa will feature a diverse collection of experiences for all skin types and specific needs.
“It gives us great pleasure to partner with The Peninsula Hong Kong, which has a similar vision in preserving local heritage and sustainable luxury as our business,” said Kira Walton. “From the outset of starting our business, we have been extremely conscious of preserving the tradition that is sustainable seaweed harvesting; strongly respecting the environment and the precious flora and fauna that flourish around it.”
“Luxury at The Peninsula Spa begins with reigniting the connection to self and nature, while bringing our guests and patrons the highest level of wellness and wellbeing experiences, and continuing our utmost commitment to the highest level of sustainability,” said Joseph WY Chong, regional vice-president, Asia, and managing director, The Peninsula Hong Kong.
“We are delighted to announce that The Peninsula Hong Kong will join hands with Voya to launch its certified organic range of products and treatments at The Peninsula Spa.”
