Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2021 finalists revealed

The Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2021 finalists have been announced, with the final of the industry competition set to take place in London’s Roundhouse on 11 October.
The finalists already made it through the initial first photographic stage of the awards, before competing at the UK & Ireland Digital Semi Finals. This involved submitting before and after looks, and recording a short video explaining the technique, application and inspiration behind their looks.
The 2021 categories are Colour Artist, Colour Specialist, Craft Artist, Editorial Look, ghd Style Master, Natural Texture Artist, Xposure Colour the Cut and Xposure Creative Colour, and OPI Nail Artist of the Year.
Among the Ireland finalists are Jenny Brennan, Hairloom; Elaine Crown, Patrick Gildea Hairdressing; Anna Davidson, Toni&Guy Malahide; Lauren Roche, Toni&Guy Dundrum; Aisling Kenny, House of Colour; and Samantha Byrne, Vanilla Hair Design, who is nominated in the ghd Style Master category.
“TrendVision is one of the annual highlights in the hairdressing calendar and is the most incredible platform, not only to enter, but to perform at,” said Robert Eaton, Wella Professionals UK & Ireland technical director. “It is a competition with great history that has been part of the Russell Eaton brand for many years, and I am very much looking forward to heading back to the Roundhouse this year.”
