Wella Professionals UK & Ireland TrendVision Award finalists announced
The Wella Professionals UK & Ireland TrendVision Award 2023 finalists have been announced.
The competition was launched at the beginning of the year and is open to anyone living or working in the UK or Ireland, including independent stylists. It aims to celebrate innovative colouring techniques, first-class cutting skills, and inspirational and fashionable hairdressing.
TrendVision Award finalists were selected from the initial photographic entry stage, with the competition set to ultimately recognise six winners across four categories.
In addition, both countries will be combined in a single competition for the People’s Choice Award in each category, which is voted for by the public. Voting is open from 31 July to 31 August.
Among the Ireland finalists are Maggie Grant, Jodie Quinn and Orla Sadlier from House of Colour; and Lisa Millington from Foundation in the Colour Visionary category. Kris Hand, Alan Keville for Hair; Sophie O'Rourke, Audace Hair & Beauty; Vi Pessoa, Vi Pessoa Hairstylist; and Leandro Santana Santos, Decode Hair are the Ireland finalists in the Craft Visionary category.
The Ireland finalists in the Xposure Creative Colour category are Chloe Fitzgerald, Karla Fitzgerald, Amy Poutch, Aoife Halpin and Kym Mulhern from House of Colour; Leah Carroll Byrne, Enniscorthy Community College; Chloe Beatty, Lorn Jane Kelly Teaching; Ruthie Caldwell, The Academy Hair and Beauty Training School; Ciara Harrington ECC For Further Education; and Rachel Grainger, South Staffordshire College.
Meanwhile, making the cut in the Editorial Look is Amy Kirwan, Vanilla Hair Design.
