Singer-songwriter Una Healy has launched Lidl’s new Doop by Lidl pop-up beauty salon, which will be open in Dublin for two days to promote its new Doop by Lidl beauty and skincare product range.
The line, which will be available from 20 March, is set to rival the big brands as the German supermarket chain gives its beauty aisle a makeover.
According to Lidl, the collection is formulated to match the quality of iconic luxury brands, but will cost a fraction of the price.
To mark the launch of the range, the Doop by Lidl pop-up salon at No 5 Andrew Street in Dublin will be open for appointments on Friday, 7 March and Saturday, 8 March.
Treatments will be just €10, with 100% of the proceeds going to Family Carer’s Ireland, which is Lidl’s charity partner.
The menu includes Scalp Spa, which is a relaxing head massage, hair mask, sheen and blow dry; Natural Beauty Facial, a one-step mini facial, face massage and drainage, fusion cream and primer application, finished with a bronzing glow and lip oil; and Flawless Skin Facial, which features a double cleanse, blemish reduction treatment, and face massage and drainage.
Doop by Lidl clients also use the Ár Ocean room post-treatment, where its own-brand skincare range will be on display; or the Glow Room, where its Marbella Glow tanning range will be showcased.
“I was so excited when I was told about Lidl’s pop-up beauty salon Doop by Lidl, and the new range of luxury-inspired beauty products coming to stores,” said Healy.
“It’s great to see more affordable alternatives to big brand products I’d use every day, and to instead start incorporating these new products into my daily routine. What I also love is that these products are there to pick up when doing the weekly shop at Lidl – you don’t have to trek into the city centre or wait for an online order.”
