Chleo to distribute skincare brand Skinvisibles in Ireland

Dublin-based beauty and skincare distribution company Chleo has announced a partnership with Skinvisibles

The Swiss skincare brand combines sun protection formulas with active skincare ingredients to give a healthy-looking, radiant complexion. The brand name is a play on the words ‘skin’, ‘invisible’ and ‘visible’ as it offers invisible daily UV protection with visible results.

Chleo was founded by Katharine Hurley in 1984 and Perron Rigot was the first brand it brought to the Irish market. It subsequently added Sothys, DMK and Artdeco to its portfolio.

Hurley’s daughter Nicola Mealia is now the MD of the business and runs it with her brother Richard Hurley from their Ballymount premises, which includes a warehouse, training facility, a showroom and offices.

“Skinvisibles specialises in suncare products only, and has created amazing formulas, with ultra-light textures and very fast absorption,” she said. “With a mission is to create ‘invisible UV protection for visible results’, UV protection and hydration are key.

“Chleo is delighted to add Skinvisibles to its portfolio of professional brands for 2025. The brand has a strong international presence with a clear distribution focus on the beauty therapist. Most of their international partners are distributors for recognised professional skincare brands, who don’t have a strong sun protection offering. Skinvisibles perfectly complements any professional skincare brand at an excellent price point.”
