Irish nurse practitioner and international regenerative medicine speaker Claudia McGloin has entered a new chapter in her professional career with the establishment of The Regenerative Expert Nurse, an independent specialist nurse-led clinic based within Doctor Medical Centre in Sligo.
McGloin has more than 28 years of nursing and orthopaedic experience, alongside extensive expertise in platelet-rich plasma (PRP), regenerative aesthetics and medical education.
She said that her new practice represents an evolution in her clinical career, combining regenerative aesthetics, PRP facial rejuvenation, PRP gel, hair restoration, polynucleotides and other regenerative treatments with an expanded specialist orthopaedic and health optimisation service.
It includes the introduction of specialist orthopaedic consultations, musculoskeletal assessment, joint and tendon injections, osteoarthritis management, and joint longevity programmes.
Central to the new clinic is McGloin’s philosophy that effective regenerative treatment begins with understanding the patient, rather than simply selecting a procedure. “The difference isn’t the treatment, it’s the assessment,” she noted.
Along with her new clinic, McGloin will continue to contribute internationally as a speaker, educator and trainer in PRP and regenerative medicine, with a particular professional focus on patient assessment, optimisation, treatment variability and clinical safety.
