Hair Café Salon, which is located in Smithfield in Dublin, is celebrating a decade in business.
Founded in 2016 by Anita and Steve Kucsera, the pair said that their 10th birthday is an incredibly proud and emotional milestone for them. Together, they have more than 50 years’ experience across the hair, beauty and wellness industry.
“It’s where we built our careers, developed our passions and, most importantly, where we met each other,” said Anita Kucsera.
“We bring very different strengths to the business, but that is what has always made us such a strong partnership. I entered the industry because I genuinely love helping people feel well, cared for and confident.
“Steve is a true artist; his creativity, attention to detail and precision cutting have earned him an incredible reputation throughout his career. Together, our skills complement each other perfectly, both personally and professionally. We really are a match made in heaven.”
Kucsera noted that like all independent salon owners, they experienced challenges, changes and many lessons along the way. “Hair Café has continued to evolve, but the heart of the salon has always remained the same: creating a welcoming space where our guests feel valued, understood and leave feeling like the very best version of themselves.”
Kucsera, who also owns the Annutri brand, said she is looking forward seeing what is next for her and her husband’s salon business.
“To still be standing side by side after 10 years, building a business, raising a family and continuing to share a genuine love for this industry is something very special,” she added.
“We are enormously grateful for everything the past decade has given us, and we are excited to carry the experience, creativity and lessons we have gained into the next chapter of Hair Café.”
