Hair Extension Training Ireland has announced a rebrand and is now called the Melissa Hayward Academy.
Owned by Melissa Hayward, the Co Kildare-based business specialises in hair extensions training. It offers both online and in-person options, with group classes, one-to-one tuition and in-salon training available.
Hayward did a hairdressing apprenticeship in New York, before returning to Ireland to open up her own hair extension salon. With her work featuring on TV, film and print media, she went on to launch Hair Extensions Training Ireland.
She has been building her business over the past number of years, and recently participated in Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers programme, which helps individuals build a successful and sustainable start-up business. She was also named Solo Businesswoman of the Year at Network Ireland’s Businesswoman of the Year Awards 2024.
The rebranded Melissa Hayward Academy includes a new website and training platform, which aims to make learning easier by facilitating a smooth and simple experience. The addition of online classes means that those who are unable to travel can learn from home, with the Melissa Hayward Academy sending them everything they need.
Hayward said that this ‘next chapter’ is all about helping her clients to grow, learn and achieve their goals with ease.
