The Make-up Competitions return to this year’s Professional Beauty & Hair and will take place over the two days of the show.
Entrants will have the chance to show off their skills, talent and creativity, as they battle it out for the unique opportunity to raise their profile in the industry.
Kicking off on Sunday, 21 April, the Insta Make-up category's theme is A Pop of Red and asks entrants to create a photo they would be proud to showcase on their business Instagram page.
Also taking place on the Sunday are the Bodypaint – Professionals category, which asks MUAs to look to the Irish Folklore theme for inspiration; and the Bridal – Professionals category, which invites entrants to create a look for a client on their big day.
Among the categories on Monday, 22 April are Character – Students and Character – Professionals, which both require entrants to design and make up a character inspired by the TV show House of the Dragon; Creative Front Cover – Students and Creative Front Cover – Professionals, which have an Easter theme; and Catwalk – Students and Catwalk – Professionals, which challenge MUAs to capture the essence of John Galliano.
