The Mirror Mirror Mannequin Hair Awards 2026 are currently open for entries until mid-September.
The Irish Hairdressing Council’s mannequin hair competition celebrates creativity, skill and the next generation of hairdressing talent across Ireland.
Open to apprentices and trainees in ETBs, colleges of further education and salons, it is a chance for entrants to showcase their work and gain industry recognition.
From creative colour work to styling and avant-garde looks, competitors should create and present their work on mannequins, and will be judged by leading industry professionals.
The junior categories include Blowdry, Casual Upstyle, Curly Style and Long Hair Style (Dressed Down), while the senior categories include Colour & Cut, Bridal Upstyle, Avant Garde and Extensions.
