The Filo Clinic has opened FILO First Skin + Glow Studios, which is a new concept that aims to make professional skincare part of everyday life for clients.
The FILO Clinic was founded in July 2022 by Ryan and Christina Lumor, a married couple from the Philippines, who are registered general nurses. With a nurse-led advanced skin and laser offering, it has branches in Ballincollig in Cork and Charlestown in Dublin, with the new FILO First Skin + Glow Studios also located in Ballincollig.
According to Ryan Lumor, FILO First has been created as a standalone brand with a different purpose, as it is centred on regular skin maintenance, offering professional facials, personalised skincare, and laser and electrolysis hair removal suitable for all skin tones and hair colours. Online bookings are available, while walk-ins are also being accepted.
“We wanted to create a space where looking after your skin feels as normal as booking your hair appointment,” he said. “Healthy skin comes from consistency, and FILO First is about making expert skincare more accessible for everyone.”
The opening of the new studio marks the first step in a wider vision for the brand, he added. Designed as a scalable concept, FILO First will form part of the company's long-term plans to bring its approach to professional skincare to more communities across Ireland.
