New wholesale business Salon Supply Direct opens in Dublin

A new hair and beauty cash and carry business has opened in Dublin.

Located in Fonthill Business Park near the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, Salon Suppy Direct is owned by Joe Doherty, who has worked in the industry for 30 years.

According to Doherty, his new business will offer all the latest brands and go-to products, competitive prices and next-day delivery, while putting a huge focus on customer support.

“Today’s market is very much about the bottom line, as most companies will attest,” he explained. “On-site visits to support and advise salons and clients on the problems they encounter, and going the extra mile, is becoming a thing of the past.”

With Salon Supply Direct, Doherty is looking to change that. Calling the business a “wholesaler with a family approach”, he plans to meet all customer needs, from sourcing a brand they want, to designing a new salon concept.

“In my 30 years in the industry, I’ve seen it all, and I can help salons survive in these most difficult of times,” he said. “I feft it was the right time to offer customers a unique service and experience, with my own personal touch.”
