The Phorest Salon Owners Summit 2025 is taking place at the Dublin Royal Convention Centre on 26 and 27 January, with the full line-up and agenda now revealed.
Among the speakers are Peigin Crowley, founder of Ground Wellbeing, who will speak about sustaining yourself in business, and recognising and managing burnout; Ken Hughes, a consumer and cyber behaviouralist who will be looking at how creativity and risk drive the innovation engine; Ronan Harrington, a resilience and high-performance expert, who will look at the practical set of skills and behaviours needed to cultivate a high performance salon; and celebrity stylist and mental health advocate Daniel Mason-Jones, who will share how you can build healthy salon teams.
The line-up will also feature a panel discussion on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the hair and beauty industry. Breaking Barriers: Black Beauty and Redefining Excellence will bring together leading voices in the professional hair and beauty sector to tackle systemic inequities and reimagine excellence through a lens of DEI .
Hosted by global education content lead at Phorest Alex Bélisle-Springer, it will explore challenges faced by Black hair and beauty professionals, entrepreneurs and consumers, including funding disparities and under-representation.
Panelists include Winnie Awa, founder/CEO of Carra; Keya Neal, founder of Kolour Kulture & Texture VS Race, colour educator, and DEI consultant; Tendai Moyo, founder/CEO of Ruka Hair; and Dija Ayodele, founder of West Room Aesthetics and Black Skin Directory.
Meanwhile, comedian and writer Emma Doran will wrap up the conference with some Irish humour entertainment.
