Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa in Co Wicklow has rebranded its spa to Powerscourt Spa & Wellness.
Powerscourt Spa & Wellness will have a broader focus on wellbeing, to include the resort’s surrounding landscape and gardens. New heat experiences will also be added later this year.
“Our goal is to cultivate a haven where guests can focus on their wellbeing, rediscover a sense of balance and truly restore themselves,” said director of spa and wellness Kellie Ann Hayden.
“The spa concept has evolved to embrace a philosophy where nature, science and heritage combine. Our goal is to ensure guests feel wellness isn’t confined to the spa, it’s something they can experience throughout their stay by simply stepping outside and engaging with the environment around them.”
Powerscourt Spa & Wellness will also be a flagship spa for Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza, which has created a series of rituals blending Irish inspiration with Hungarian heritage.
“With its origins in Hungary, widely regarded as a birthplace of spa culture, Omorovicza adds a new depth of ritual and authenticity to our treatments, with exceptionally high-quality products and results,” added Hayden.
“This has been met with great enthusiasm from both guests and our team, who have embraced the training, education and the performance-led nature of the treatments. It has been an exciting new chapter for our spa, one that complements our history while allowing us to continue evolving. Our vision is to develop wellness experiences that are not only luxurious, but deeply restorative, personal and connected to place.”
