Aimee Connolly’s make-up academy located in new Dublin store

Aimee Connolly has opened her first store on Dublin’s Grafton Street, with The Academy located on the second floor in The Suite, which is a purpose-built studio space.

Connolly is the owner and chief executive of cosmetics business Sculpted by Aimee. Following a number of years working as a make-up artist, the Dublin native founded her brand in 2016, with the aim of creating products she believed were missing from the market.

Connolly founded Sculpted The Academy in 2017, when she introduced her own certified make-up courses. She also offers a special Sculpted Pro Programme for its growing make-up artist community in Ireland and the UK.

Courses being offering at The Academy include The Art of Photographic Make-up, a 10-week VTCT-certified course.

As well as The Academy, The Suite is also set to host events, masterclasses, makeovers and make-up lessons.

Meanwhile, the store, which is the first Irish cosmetics brand to open on Grafton Street, features virtual try-on screens, digital look books, a click-and-collect service, phone charging stations in the downstairs ‘chillout’ area, and a recycling facility on site for customers to recycle their used Sculpted by Aimee products and earn reward points.

The shop is also stocked with branded crew neck jumpers, mugs, pens and bridal gifts.
