New nurse-led aesthetics clinic opens in Cork

A new aesthetics clinic has opened in Ballincollig, with all the treatments on offer performed by registered nurses.

Filipino-owned Filo Aesthetics has been opened by the same team behind Sensei Cafe on Dyke Parade and Ochado Bubble Tea at the Marina Market.

Filo manager Ryan Lumor and his wife Christina spent a year working as nurses in Kuwait before coming to Ireland with their son and opening the Cork businesses. Both Sensei Cafe and Ochado Bubble Tea have attracted a loyal following since they launched last year.

According to Lumor, the new Ballincollig clinic is their newest business and “our biggest one yet”.

Treatments at Filo include advanced facials, laser hair removal, acne scar management, slimming and reshaping, anti-ageing, wart removal, skin tag removal, IV drips, and PRP (platelet-rich plasma).

The clinic also operates flexible opening house, has the option of adjoining rooms for small groups and is operating a membership package.
