Beauty Blog Awards 2019 take place in Dublin
The best of the blogging and influencing world in Ireland gathered recently for the fifth annual Beauty Blog Awards.
Taking place in House on Dublin’s Leeson St, the event was sponsored by TanOrganic and adjudicated by X Factor judge Louis Walsh, who was on hand to oversee a brand new competition: Influencers Got Talent.
Hundreds of hopefuls made their bid to win a VIP holiday to Istanbul in this new category at the awards, where they were required to promote TanOrganic in a one-minute video. It was Laura Dowling, aka @fabulouspharmacist, who walked away with the vacation, while Jill Mathews was runner-up, leaving with a €500 hamper filled with beauty products.
Mateo Saina from TV show First Dates Ireland was MC on the night, which featured 20 categories in total. With over 1,000 nominees making the longlist, this has been the biggest year yet for the Beauty Blog Awards as a half a million votes were cast as the public chose their favourite influencers.
“We are delighted to be sponsoring the awards for a fifth year,” said TanOrganic’s founder Noelle O’Connor. “The Beauty Blog Awards really supports all bloggers and influencers big and small and gives them the recognition that they deserve.”
Winners on the night included Rosanna Davison (Best Nutrition); Elisha Stokes (Best Make-up); The Style Fairy (Best Design Influencer); Sinead Curvy Style (Best Beauty); and Isabel Duffy/Isabeldmakeup (Best Influencer 18 and under).
