The Beauty, Hair & Spa Awards are back for 2023, with the gala ceremony taking place in the InterContinental Dublin on 12 November.
With 14 categories across beauty, hair and spa, we're thrilled to introduce the Educator of the Year category this year.
If you empower others through education, this is the category for you. It is is open to any educator who teaches hairdressers, beauty therapists and/or nail technicians, including in-house educators, freelancers and training providers. The education can be delivered in-person or online, including through social media.
To enter, we would like to hear why you deserve to win in a 90-second video (can be filmed on your phone). We would also like to hear about your education philosophy; why education is important to you, and why you have chosen to work as an educator.
Other information we require is how you deliver education, and why you have chosen that format. You will need to provide an overview of how a typical education session might go, from start to finish.
In addition, we'd like to hear about how you appraise learners, including an overview of your appraisal process; how you evolve your education to stay relevant; and in what way your education had an impact.
Education plays a huge role within the hair and beauty industry in Ireland, as professionals stay ahead of their game by availing of the latest courses. So if you are a training provider, this is your unique opportunity to be recognised for the amazing work you do in helping the sector to maintain its standards of excellence.
