Best of the Best Photographic Awards join forces with Habic

With a closing date of 30 September, there’s still time to enter the Best of the Best Photographic Awards 2020, which are joining forces with Habic for the first time this year.
Like other years, the awards aim to showcase the talent that Ireland’s hair and beauty industry has to offer. Launched in 1998, they are a four-month long process involving a panel of international judges and culminating in an awards evening. This year, because of the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions in place, the final will be hosted online.
The competition is divided into a number of categories, with Ireland’s Hairdresser of the Year 2020 Award to be presented to the entrant with the highest combined scores from their best three submissions from the Haircutter, Hair Colourist, Bridal Hairstylist and Editorial Stylist categories.
This year also features a number of new categories, including additional Business Awards. The adjudication process for the Business Awards will have a panel combined with an online public vote to reveal the ultimate winners.
Due to the pandemic, the entry of existing images is permitted this year, including images that were submitted for a Best of the Best Award in a previous year. Previous winning images are not eligible, and anyone entering must be a member of Habic.
