Covid app launched for hair and beauty industry
Co Kerry-based TB Smart Solutions has launched a new mobile app to help businesses remain compliant with Covid-19 regulations.
Aimed at a range of industries, including the hair and beauty sector, Count Me promises to make it quick and easy to keep businesses open and compliant with Covid-19 HSA and GDPR requirements.
According to TB Smart Solutions, the app helps businesses easily manage accountability (sanitisation, contact tracing, staff accountability, reporting, data storage and management) to comply with Government (HSA and GDPR) and company regulations, ensuring a safe environment for all.
It said that the app creates a cost-efficient, reliable alternative to maintaining and managing paper records, taking the stress and additional work out of managing Covid-19 and GDPR compliance for both staff and the business, while ensuring the business avoids potential litigation, closure and unnecessary costs.

For the past few months, Count Me has been beta-tested within some businesses in Kerry, including Sean Taaffe Hair & Beauty, which has three salons in the county and has found Count Me to be very beneficial for managing all aspects of Covid-19 compliance.
There has now been over 100,000 user interactions with the application to date, and TB Smart Solutions is now rolling it out to businesses across Ireland.
