Former Davines CEO joins Phorest board of directors

Phorest Salon Software has announced the appointment of former Davines Group CEO Paolo Braguzzi to its board of directors.

As CEO of Davines Group for 17 years, Braguzzi was responsible for the growth of the Davines (haircare) and Comfort Zone (skincare) brands and oversaw the company’s transition into a benefit corporation with a turnover of €163m.

He said that a shared devotion to the beauty industry and passion for the planet was key to his decision to take up the position with Phorest.

“In my working experience I have had the pleasure to focus on servicing and supporting the professional beauty industry, which I consider my home place, and combine the success of the companies I worked for with a positive impact on people and the planet. I’m glad to have the chance to continue this journey by joining the board of directors of Phorest and contribute to its global expansion.”
