Hair and beauty professionals among Image Awards shortlist

A number of hair and beauty professionals in Ireland have made the shortlist for the Image PwC Businesswoman of the Year Awards.

Now in its 15th year, the annual event is taking place on 14 April at the Clayton Hotel in Dublin.

Anita Murray, managing director, Edvard & Pink, and Linda Stinson, CEO, Bellamianta and Iconic Bronze are both finalists in the Entrepreneur of the Year category. Aine Kennedy, founder, The Smooth Company, and Onagh Chira, CEO, Platinum Hair Extensions are finalists in the Young Businesswoman of the Year (Under 35) category.

Owner of Ground Wellbeing Peigín Crowley has made the shortlist in the Start-up of the Year category, while Kim O’Sullivan, director and owner, The Dublin Makeup Academy, Brow Aid and PhiAcademy Ireland, and Olga Kochlewska, director and owner, Skin by Olga are on the shortlist for Creative Businesswoman of the Year.

Meanwhile, CEO of the Hair and Beauty Industry Confederation (Habic) Margaret O’Rourke Doherty is a CEO of the Year finalist.
