L’Oreal Professionnel Paris announces new ID Artist team

L’Oreal Professionnel Paris has announced its new ID Artist team, with seven stylists from Ireland among the 14 members.
The ID Artist development programme aims to find talented individuals and help them reach their full potential. Over a two-year period, the team receives unique opportunities, training and skills development, as members work with top industry names, upskill in presenting, and network widely with other professionals.
With over 100 applicants for the latest ID Artist team, the virtual audition process took place in two stages. Applicants had to showcase their skills across their personalised categories of colour, cutting or styling. Then they had a virtual interview with a panel of industry experts.
The stylists from Ireland in the new ID Artist team are Adam Cunningham, Zeba Hairdressing Sandymount, Dublin; Augusto Miranda and Mark Sherwood, Zeba Hairdressing South William Street, Dublin; Clare Kenny, Hession Hairdressing, Dublin; Georgia Haverty, Peter Mark College of Hairdressing, Dublin; Neill Cooney, Brown Sugar Ranelagh, Dublin; and Yolanda Dunne, Wildflower, Dublin.
They join UK stylists Dean Taylor, Clipso St Albans; Elle Foreman, Tribe Clapham; Francesco Merico, Trevor Sorbie Covent Garden; Giuseppe Di rosa, Trevor Sorbie Brighton; Laszlo Roman, Creations Hairdressing; Sara Bergantini, Fowler35; and Troy Boyd, Anthony John Salons.
“It was a great honour to be involved in the judging of the ID Artist programme,” said Darren Ambrose, co-owner, D&J Ambrose. “It is always an inspiration to see our young rising icons within the industry share their passion, creativity and performance. Congratulations to the 14 successful and good luck for the future, I am super excited to see you grow.”
Meanwhile, the Ireland stylists among the 2023 intake, who will join the current second-year ID Artists are Callum O Donovan, The Edge Hair Design, Cork; Megan O'Donoghue, Brown Sugar Blackrock, Dublin; and Orla Langton, Wildflower, Dublin.
