NI Beauty Excellence Awards 2022 honour industry professionals

The Northern Ireland (NI) Beauty Excellence Awards 2022 took place in Belfast recently, with almost 600 people attending the ceremony, which was hosted by Pamela Ballantine.
They were judged by an independent panel of experts, including hair stylist and owner of Stafford Hair Paul Stafford; founder of Pearl Beauty Elanna McGowan; make-up and skincare specialist Katrina Doran; Bellamianta founder Linda Stinson; and medical director at Woodford Medical Dr Mervyn Patterson.
Among the winners were Young Nails Academy in Belfast for Training Provider of the Year; Rouge Beauty & Skincare Clinic in Newry for Beauty & Skincare Salon to Watch; Brows & Co in Kilkeel for Specialist Salon of the Year; Belfast Skin Clinic in Belfast for Specialist Clinic of the Year; Beyond Skin Clinic in Belfast for Aesthetics Clinic of the Year, Jax Hair and Beauty in Co Down for Hair Salon of the Year; and Dr Emma Clinics for Excellence in Marketing.
Alyson Hogg MBE, founder and chief executive of organic tanning and skincare brand Vita Liberata, was recognised for Outstanding Contribution to the Industry.
“We have some of the most dynamic and innovative hair, beauty and aesthetic businesses right across Northern Ireland, and it was a pleasure to be in the room with them all and feel the buzz of passion for our industry,” said Stafford.
“We received more than double the amount of entries from our inaugural event in 2019, which just goes to show how determined these businesses are in bringing new and exciting products and services to Northern Ireland, training up the next generation of stylists and clinicians, and providing valued and professional services in Northern Ireland.”
