The Cosmetic Association Trade Fair returns to Dublin in May

The Cosmetic Association Trade Fair will resume this year after a two-year absence due the Covid-19 pandemic, with the event taking place in the RDS in Dublin on 15, 16 and 17 May.

The Cosmetic Association consists of owner/managers of Irish indigenous distribution companies, which have joined together to host a trade fair under one roof.

Founded in 1988, the event was originally known as ‘Showrooms’. It was held in The Burlington Hotel for almost 20 years until the membership grew so large in numbers that it moved to the RDS.

Membership has also grown in business type, with the trade fair now covering a range of areas, including the beauty salon sector.

According to The Cosmetic Association, this year’s event will feature long-standing members, as well as new ones, with a focus on Irish home grown brands, particularly in the skincare sector.

“We are expecting a wonderful turnout, and hope that all our buyers will set aside some time from their very busy schedules to come and see all the excellent new products,” said Jo Sommerville, director, The Cosmetic Association.
