The Glammies 2021 mark 10 years with new categories
The Glammies by Great Lengths are celebrating their 10th year in 2021, with a number of new categories added.
Open to salons and stylists across Ireland and the UK, the Glammies honour the craft, creativity and business of hair extensions.
The awards feature six specialist creative categories – Longer Length, Enviable Volume, Captivating Colour, Creative Innovation, Bridal Creation and Best Newcomer – along with 15 business categories, including Republic of Ireland Best Hair Extension Salon/Freelancer of the Year, and the Great Lengths Trophy for Extension Excellence.
With new online entry, the creative categories are open to all Great Lengths-certified stylists who work with Great Lengths extensions in a commercial environment, while the business categories are open to any Great Lengths-certified salon, or freelancer who works with Great Lengths in a commercial setting.
Winners will receive a range of prizes, including tickets for a group tour of the Great Lengths production facility in Rome.
The winner of the Great Lengths Trophy for Extension Excellence will be invited to participate in a photoshoot experience with the education and creative team to create a concept, before bringing it to life with a photoshoot with a top make-up artist, stylist and photographer. The finished images will be used for PR, digital and social purposes, helping the winner to grow their portfolio and profile.
Entries for the Glammies are now open and will close on 1 July.
