Therapie Clinic donates personal protective equipment to Irish hospitals

Therapie Clinic has donated all its masks, gloves and hand sanitisers to local hospitals near its clinics in Ireland and the UK. The stock is thought to be worth over €50,000.
The aesthetics chain has 31 clinics across the UK and Ireland and last year opened four new clinics in London. The business is run by siblings Philip and Katie McGlade.
“As part of our contribution to the fight against Covid-19, members of our amazing Therapie family including CEO Phillip McGlade and managing director Katie Mc Glade will be donating all our supplies on gloves, sanitisers and masks to hospitals and nursing homes across the UK and Ireland,” it said on LinkenIn.
“We were in some hospitals today and they are desperate for supplies. We would urge everyone to donate what you can. Your country needs you. As JF Kennedy once said, ‘Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country’.”
Personal protection equipment (PPE) has been in short supply during the Covid-19 outbreak and hospitals have been asking industries such as the hair and beauty one to help out by donating anything they may have.
