Totalcare celebrates 40 years in business with new logo

Totalcare is marking 40 years in business with a new logo and a rebuilding of its brand and product portfolio to better educate stakeholders and potential customers.

Based in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, the company was founded by Dympna Fitzgerald, who opened her first salon in Limerick at the age of 19, before expanding into distribution in the waxing, cosmetics and electrolysis sectors.

As the company has evolved, so too did its business functions, as it went on to become a sub-section of La Crème Distribution, launching many different aesthetic and hair removal devices.

In 2009 Totalcare returned to being a stand-alone company, with the business today being focused on launching new technology and rental models, along with education.

“We are emerging from a very challenging period, and it is important to recognise that it is an incredible achievement that any business continues to trade, survive and grow in a market filled with uncertainty,” said Ben Fitzgerald, company director, sales/servicing and education co-ordinator at Totalcare, and son of Dympna.

“Totalcare’s vision and mission remain the same, but we are rebuilding their brand and product portfolio to better educate stakeholders and potential customers. The old logo served its purpose and allowed us to establish ourselves with our own identity. But as we emerge from this challenging period, is a nice time to refresh the face of the company by clearly demonstrating we have ‘Everything for Beauty’.”
