US brand Little Green expands range in Ireland

US brand Little Green has launched its Lice Guard System in Ireland, following the launch of its Baby and Kids Hair and Body Collection in the summer.

Created by former hairdresser Carmen DePasquale, Little Green products are formulated for babies and children. Designed to be kind to the environment, they are free of parabens, sulphates and allergens, with a promise to be ‘safe, gentle and pure’.

DePasquale has over 40 years’ experience in the hair and beauty industry, from founding his own salon and spa, to creating cosmetics that address the different issues across a variety lifestyles.

As a grandfather of 12, he was inspired to work on children’s products after noticing a gap in the market to address their allergies and skin conditions. “I researched the top selling brands that specifically cater to babies and children, and established that their claims were not substantiated by the evidence,” he said. “This became my inspiration for Little Green.”

Distribued in Ireland by Xpert Professional, the brand’s launch of the new Little Green Lice Guard System coincides with the back-to-school season. Formulated with a blend of natural tea tree, neem, rosemary, peppermint, lavender and eucalyptus oils to help repel head lice, the products in the range are non-toxic, especially formulated for sensitive skin and suitable for daily use. The line features a shampoo, detangler and gel.
