The Grafton Barber has opened its 60th branch in Dublin Airport, with actor James Nesbitt on hand to officially launch the new outlet.

Located in Terminal 1 Arrivals, it aims to deliver its signature services to passengers and staff. Open seven days a week, there is a walk-in service, along with online booking options via Booksy.

An Irish family-owned business, The Grafton Barber was founded in 1961 by Hugh McAllister Sr, and is now run by his sons Hugh and Conor.

“We are thrilled to bring The Grafton Barber to Dublin Airport, making our exceptional services accessible to travellers from around the world,” they said.

“Our mission is to deliver top-notch grooming with a touch of Irish hospitality, ensuring everyone can look and feel their best before, during, or after their journey. If you miss us on your way out, we’re here to serve you upon your return.”

The opening of the new branch marks the return of barbering services to the Dublin Airport after a 30-year absence.

“This is a great addition to the offering available to passengers in the terminals at Dublin Airport,” said Gary McLean, managing director of Dublin Airport.

“We listen closely to passenger feedback and know that being able to get a haircut in the airport, either before or after a flight, is going to prove really popular. It is something that we’ve continually heard that passengers would like to be able to get while visiting the airport, and it’s great to see it open just as the peak summer period gets underway.

“The opening of The Grafton Barber is just the beginning. Dublin Airport is committed to continually improving its offerings to meet the needs and desires of its passengers. We continue to explore other services and outlets that we can introduce into the terminals, and passengers can look forward to more exciting additions soon.”
