Two new aesthetic clinics are opening in Cork amid a growing demand among the population for various treatments.

Thérapie Clinic is opening its 30th clinic in Ireland in the Wilton Shopping Centre in Cork on 7 July. As well as being the Irish-owned company’s 30th clinic in Ireland, it is its 80th globally.

Thérapie Clinic has invested €500,000 into the new Wilton location. It will initally have a staff of four, with more potential roles being available for industry professionals as the clinic grows.

Thérapie Clinic already has a branch on Opera Lane in Cork city centre, which is one of its businest locations. According to the company, in the last 12 months, it has had over 30,000 client visits, and new client growth of 74%.

“It’s a huge milestone for Thérapie Clinic to open our 30th clinic in Ireland, and we’re delighted that it’s in Cork,” said Phillip McGlade, CEO of Thérapie Clinic.

“The Opera Lane clinic was the third ever Thérapie Clinic to open, and the loyal clientele in Cork really helped put Thérapie Clinic on the map. The demand for Thérapie in Cork is so high that a second clinic is a must. The new clinic in Wilton Shopping Centre will bring our affordable and accessible aesthetic treatments to even more Corkonians.

“This clinic will offer an array of services, but injectable treatments will be the main focus as that is what is most popular with our Cork clients.”

Meanwhile, Sisu Clinic has revealed that it is opening its third Cork location in Ballincollig.

Sisu Clinic was founded in 2018 by Cork doctors and brothers Dr James Cotter and Dr Brian Cotter, along with tech entrepreneur Pat Phelan. It already has 15 branches around Ireland, and has a presence in the UK and US.

“We are experiencing exponential growth as a company worldwide, and as we scale towards 30 global clinics, it is extra thrilling to be opening another location on our home turf,” Phelan said in a social media post.

“This location will be a pretty quick turnaround and we expect to be welcoming our first patients in a few short weeks.”
