The Spa at The Kingsley therapist honoured as ‘inspirational’

The head therapist at The Spa at The Kingsley in Cork has been named Inspirational Therapist of the Year at the Shine Your Light Awards 2023.

Spa manager Amy Brady was a finalist in the Inspirational Leader of the Year category.

The awards are run by The Power Of Touch (TPOP), an organisation that focuses on wellness within the beauty and spa industry.

TPOP was founded by Michelle Hammond in 2013 as a result of research in to the challenges of treating clients with cancer in UK and Irish spas and salons.

After the initial research, Hammond worked with clinicians and specialists in the field of oncology to understand how complementary therapies could be utilised more effectively for those living with disease and life-limiting health conditions.

Now an active ambassador for integrative health and lifestyle medicine, she works alongside numerous charities and health-focused organisations to promote wellness.
