The UK & Ireland Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2024 has launched, with the hairdressing competition giving stylists the opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity.
The categories this year are Colour Visionary, Craft Visionary and Xposure Creative Colour (for students only).
The competition is open to anyone living or working in the UK or Ireland who is working in a salon or as an independent stylist – they don’t need to be a Wella Professionals account. The exception is the Xposure Creative Colour category, which is exclusive to hairdressing students.
To enter, competitors complete an online entry form with a before and after image, then upload both images or a transformational reel to Instagram, making sure the relevant hashtags and tags are included. Images must have been taken in the last 12 months and not previously entered into any industry competitions. There are no gender-specific limitations for models.
“Wella’s TrendVision Award is unique and offers a platform for individuals to show the hairdressing world their talents, whilst going on an incredible journey of self-development – it can be a life-changing opportunity,” said Max Amen, general manager UK & Ireland, Wella Company. “The UK & Ireland Final is an event like no other, and we are incredibly proud to announce that this will be taking place for the first time at Old Billingsgate this year.”
Entries are now open and will close on 14 June. All successful photographic entries will go straight through to the UK & Ireland Final, which takes place on 7 October in London.
