Wella Professionals RED Business Network Live 2024 take place

More than 280 delegates attended the 26th Wella Professionals RED Business Network Live at Liverpool Docks in the UK recently.

The two-day community event featured motivational and inspirational speakers, along with networking opportunities for like-minded Wella RED members, salon owners and managers to share experiences and business challenges.

Hosted by industry influencer and podcaster Dom Lehane, it was officially opened by Wella’s managing director UK & Ireland Max Amen.

“Business Network Live is an opportunity to learn not only from the inspirational speakers, but from each other,” he said. “This is an investment in yourself and that is the best investment you can make.”

The line-up of speakers over the two days included entrepreneurs, authors and business leaders.

Highlights included a session from Alison Edgar MBE, who shared the importance of setting goals in business and creating a ‘smash it’ mindset; a talk from Christian Howes, which linked data analytics to human behaviour.

Meanwhile, this year's RED Business Network Live panel discussion featured Galway-based stylist and salon owner Sarah Mason, along with Natasha Grossman, Darren Messias, Colin Mcandrew and Steve Rowbottom. Discussion topics included attracting apprentices, maintaining existing business and franchise challenges.
