Kreative Salon Supplies has announced the acquisition of Prestij Salon Supplies, a well-known distributor that has served the Irish hairdressing industry for a number decades.
Founded by Paddy and Maureen Murphy, Prestij Salon Supplies has built a strong reputation, supplying the full range of Alter Ego Italy salon-exclusive products, along with a range of hairdressing accessories.
After an 48 years in the industy, Murphy is now retiring, with Kreative Salon Supplies wishing him the best for his next chapter.
The company said that the acquisition marks an exciting new chapter, as it continues its commitment to expanding nationwide support for salon professionals.

Kreative Salon Supplies was established in 1996 as Paul Farrell Hairdressing Supplies, and rebranded in 2012. Based in Monksland in Athlone it is the exclusive Irish distributor of salon professional brands Alter Ego Italy and Echosline. The company operates a trade-only cash and carry, a dedicated training academy and a fully equipped salon furniture showroom.
