A number of colourists and salons from across Northern Ireland have been named as semi-finalists in the L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2026, as the live hairdressing competition goes to Belfast to mark its 70th anniversary.
Taking place at the Titanic Hotel on 13 April 13, 2026, the Northern Ireland semi-final will see them compete live in front of industry judges and an audience, with those progressing to the national final announced.
On the night, guests will also experience a live artistic and educational showcase led by Robert Eaton of Russell Eaton Hair.

The L’Oréal Colour Trophy STAR Award Northern Ireland semi-finalists are:

The judging panel includes owner of Zeba Hairdressing in Dublin Angie Dromgoole, and Dylan Bradshaw, who owns Dylan Bradshaw Dublin. They both praised the standard of the competition this year. “A lot of people were trying new things, which for me is the most exciting part,” said Bradshaw.
