SQT Ireland hosts Q&A event in Dublin with brand’s founders

SQT Ireland hosted an event recently in Dublin to introduce a number of skin clinics from around the country to the brand’s founders.

Dr Henry Qin and his wife Claire took part in a Q&A discussion about bio-microneedling, and upcoming innovations and products launches.

Dr Qin, who is a doctor of microbiology and CEO of Hunan Sunshine Bio-Tech Co in China, developed SQT’s bio-microneedling treatments as a natural alternative to traditional microneedling. Harnessing the purity and quality of freshwater sponge spicules, it promises to be both highly effective and naturally restorative, addressing concerns such as acne, pigmentation and signs of ageing.

SQT was launched in Ireland over two years ago by distributor by Evanza Ferris, who noted that the business has experienced exceptional growth in the market here since then.

“As a company, SQT is constantly evolving, updating its treatments with new ingredients and introducing new ones,” she explained.

Ferris called the event in Dublin a “proud and powerful moment for SQT Ireland”.

“We had the honour of welcoming Henry King as he joined us in Ireland to meet some of our incredible clinic partners,” she said. “These are clinics that are proudly delivering real results, transformations powered by SQT bio-microneedling. To see the impact in person, to connect, to share the vision…this is what global growth looks like."

This is a sponsored post in association with SQT Ireland, which will be exhibiting at Professional Beauty & Hair 2026 at stand F13 at the RDS in Dublin on 19-20 April. SQT is also the Therapist of the Year sponsor at the Beauty, Hair & Spa Awards 2026, which are taking place at the InterContinental Dublin on 19 April.
