L’Oréal Professionnel ID Artist 2025 is now open for entries, with the two-year mentorship and development programme aiming to foster hairdressing talent programme, no matter what stage participants have reached in their careers.
The initiative has helped launch and evolve the careers of some of the most well-known names in hairdressing, including past alumni Marlon Hawkins, Nancy Stripe and Abigail Butler.
Running from March 2025 until December 2026, it promises to take successful applicants on a creative and inspirational journey, opening doors through new connections and experiences, while developing skills to help members achieve their full potential.
To enter, the first step involves creating an audition video. Applicants must prepare a complete look on a model, based on something that inspires them, and present this look with a five-minute landscape video explaining how they achieved the look, including the techniques and products used.
The video must involve cutting, styling or colour results, or a combination, using only L’Oréal Professionnel styling and/or colouring products. It should be based on the skill areas entrants want to profile to the judges.
From all the video entries, an expert judging panel will select 36 entrants to go through to the second round. Finalists will be invited to participate in a 10-minute virtual interview with a panel of judges.
The deadline for submissions is 16 January 2025, and more information on entering is available at lorealaccess.com
